The Top Shelf Gallery has reopened. Do stop by to see the latest exhibit during library hours.

Fletcher Memorial Library in Hampton has opened The Top Shelf Gallery and is looking for painters and print makers willing to exhibit their work. Normally exhitions will run for two months, but shorter exhibitions can be arranged. The library is especially anxious to feature area artists, and we will do our best to promote their work.

Our exhibition space is convenient if a bit unconventional. The upper shelves will take paintings up to 32 inches in height and works of medium size rather than miniatures will show best. No hooks or hangers are needed and the work is safely out of traffic and out of reach. Our only request is that 15% of any work sold be donated to the library.

Images of work in current and upcoming shows are posted on this website.

Artists interested in exhibiting should contact John O'Brien (jobrienart@yahoo.com) with some images of their work.
